All you have to do, is submit your best line (in the form provided) for the Ugly Brother image on the Homepage.
(Before submitting your entry, be sure to click your "Reload" or "Refresh" button to ensure you are viewing our most updated image.)

Your entry will automatically post to the Archives of the current image displayed.
(You may also click the "Current Entries" link on the homepage to view your submission.)

Yes...there is currently no limit on the number of entries you may submit.
(Please keep in mind--it's the "quality," and not the "quantity" of submissions that will get your vote.)

Try clicking your "Reload" or "Refresh" button on your browser. If your entry still doesn't appear (or appear as submitted) it may have contained common profanity which was removed by the filters.

We suggest you always scan the previous entries, first. Submit early if possible to avoid duplication. If someone posts an exact or similar entry, the first entry submitted will be deemed the winner.
(Note: Others may "play" off your idea and ultimately end up with a win.)

New MUB images are posted every couple of days if possible. Sometimes images are posted "daily" if a lot of entries are submitted.
(We suggest joining our Mailing List, to be notified instantly of a new image and winner.)

By voting. Each entry is given a number when submitted. When you send your vote(s) to us, we tally those numbers at this end to determine a winner.
(Note: We respect your right to "privacy," so voting is always done "anonymously.")

Visit the Archives page and click the links preceded by a green arrow. After arriving on the page you've selected, click the check box next to your favorite entry, and click the Submit button at the bottom of the page. Your vote will then be e-mailed to MUB Staff.
(Please vote only "once" per person, per image. "Stuffing" the ballot box is quite obvious, and automatically disqualifies that entry from winning.)

After a new image is posted, voting becomes available on the previous image (as shown by the green checked links on the Archives page). The "current image" is unavailable for voting until it works its way out of rotation.
(Note: Once the contest closes, no late entries may be added to the prior image. Submit early if possible.)

If you are chosen a winner, your name (including image name) will be posted on the Homepage, as well as the Winners page. Your name (including winning entry) will also be posted at the top of their Ugly Brother win.

Yes...
Keep your entries clean and in good taste; otherwise, they'll be removed.
Check to see what others have submitted to avoid "duplicates."
Avoid writing a "monologue." Short and sweet is the best. Lengthy submissions rarely win.
Double-check your spelling and grammar. If folks can't read or understand what you've written, it may be overlooked.
Avoid using all capital letters (unless your character is yelling).
Scan the Winners page to see what types of humor folks are winning with. Get ideas for yourself.
Please don't use "multiple" names or handles (although it's your decision if you choose to do so). Folks like to get to know you by name or the "handle" you give; plus, it's easier for us (and you) to keep track of your wins.

Click the yellow "up" arrows to return to the top.
